Xinchejian – 新车间

In my search for a place to work on Julia while traveling, I have found there is an entire community of people like me. Dubbed “Digital Nomads”, there are resources scattered around for those of us that have electronic livelihoods untethered by geographical concerns. Nomad List was my go-to while in Europe, but once I arrived in Shanghai I knew I would need something a little different. I googled “Shanghai Makerspace” and found 新车间, a delightful mixture of passionate makers, community, and creativity.
